With the ROG Zephyrus G16 2025 (GU605CR), Asus presents a modern notebook designed for gamers and creatives, featuring up to a Core i9-285H CPU and GeForce RTX 5090 laptop GPU.
Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 2025 appeals to gamers and creative professionals who want to combine high performance with good portability. The model is the big brother of the ROG Zephyrus G14, one of Asus’ many innovations unveiled at CES 2025.
Regarding the Zephyrus G16 2025 specs, Asus ROG’s 16-inch gaming notebook features Intel CPUs up to the Intel Core Ultra 9 285H. Along with the larger form factor, one significant difference from the G14 is that it uses AMD processors. In both versions, the manufacturer combines GPUs up to the Nvidia RTX 5090 Laptop, as well as up to 64 GB LPDDR5X RAM and a maximum of 2 TB of storage on a PCIe 4.0 SSD.

As mentioned, the screen on the new Asus Nvidia GeForce laptop is larger, measuring 16 inches. Still, with a resolution of 2.5K (2,560 x 1,600 pixels), it has a slightly lower resolution than the 3K Asus ROG Zephyrus G14. However, the ROG Nebula OLED panel in the G16 refreshes twice as fast at 240 Hz. Other features include 500 nits of brightness, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, Pantone validation, Dolby Vision HDR, and G-Sync.
For connectivity, the CNC-milled aluminum chassis, which is a maximum of 1.75 cm thick and weighs less than 2 kg, features Thunderbolt 4 and USB 3.2 Type-C (each with PD and DP support), multiple USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1, and an audio jack. Wireless support includes Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Additionally, the ROG Zephyrus G16 features an FHD IR webcam and a 90 Wh battery, providing extended battery life.

Amazon.com is now listing the 2025 ROG Zephyrus G16 featuring the Intel Ultra 9-285H and RTX 5070 Ti for $3,049. This configuration includes 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 1TB PCIe SSD. Over on Amazon UK, the same model is priced at £2,899.99, while a higher-end version with an RTX 5090 GPU, 64GB LPDDR5X RAM, and a 2TB SSD is available for £4,699.
