Micromax is definitely believed to expand their Yu brand series. Today, the company has listed yet another smartphone called Yu Yunique on its official partner Snapdeal website with a flash sale registration, Priced at Rs. 4,999.
The Micromax Yu Yunique arrives with a 4.7 inch HD display that carries a screen resolution of 720×1280 pixels, pixel density of 312ppi and also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device is stuffed with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC, Adreno 306 GPU and paired with 1GB LPDDR3 of RAM.
The Yu Yunique runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system – No Cyanogen OS out of the box, the smartphone features an 8-megapixels primary camera with autofocus, LED flash, f/2.0 wide aperture and also pre-installed camera features such as face detection, HDR, geo-tagging, live filters and panorama mode. While there is a 2-megapixels front facing selfie camera with wide viewing angle up to 83 degrees with f/2.4 aperture and 3P Lens for wider selfie portraits and video conferencing.
The Micromax Yu Yunique handset bundles 8GB of inbuilt storage capacity that can be expanded externally via micro SD card up to 32GB. For connectivity, the device includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A-GPS and micro USB 2.0 options. This Micromax Yu phone supports dual SIM functionality and a 2000mAh battery whose backup up to 271 hours of standby time and up to 7 hours of talk time.
The specifications of the Yu Yunique as listed by the Snapdeal website reveal that the device is meant for budget segment with a standard price of Rs 4,999; while Rs. 5,499 with two back covers.
