Yongnuo has introduced the YN85mm F1.8Z DF DSM full-frame lens for Nikon Z mirrorless cameras. It is equipped with stepper autofocus and belongs to the fast-medium telephoto category.
The ability to correctly convey perspective and easily highlight the main object in the frame by blurring the background, provided by a combination of focal length and a large maximum aperture, makes portrait photography one of the main areas of application of the device.
The Nikon Z lens is protected from dust and splashes. It features a switch to select manual or focus mode and a programmable Fn button. The lens mount is equipped with a dust-proof and waterproof rubber ring, which can effectively resist the entry of dust and water droplets.
Also, the advantages of the lens include the presence of a USB port, designed in the form of a USB Type-C connector with a rubber plug and designed to update the firmware. The lens adopts high-precision metal bayonet and gold-plated contacts, which can effectively improve signal conductivity and corrosion resistance.
