Yongnuo YN16mm f1.8S DA DSM Wide Angle Lens for Sony E mount

The Yongnuo has officially released a new wide-angle autofocus fixed lens YN16mm F1.8S DA DSM. It is available for Sony APS-C cameras with an E mount, although it can be used at full frame.

The quiet DSM autofocus drive makes the lens suitable for shooting landscapes and nightscapes, architecture, night sky, and video.

According to official information, the YN16mm F1.8S DA DSM lens turned out to be light and compact. It has an AF/MF switch, a focus lock (AFL) button, and a USB-C port for firmware updates. Autofocus supports face recognition and focusing and tracking of moving objects.

The lens has a nano-multi-layer coating, a structure of 10 elements in 8 groups, which improves light transmittance and suppresses backlight ghosts and glareInternal focus technology supports faster AF. Aspherical lenses with low dispersion, 1 aspherical glass for various aberrations compensation, 1 low-dispersion glass, and 1 ultra-low dispersion glass to suppress dispersion. It has a 7-blade circular aperture and an F1.8 large aperture.
