Lenovo has launched the Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition, priced at under $1,300 in the US. This lightweight laptop, powered by Intel’s Lunar Lake processor, offers a more affordable alternative to the Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360, which also features Intel’s latest processor architecture.
Lenovo has launched the Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition less than a week after unveiling the Intel Lunar Lake-based laptop. Although the company shared many details during IFA 2024 in Berlin, it did not confirm a specific release date. However, it is now available online.
Lenovo has confirmed that the new Aura Edition will feature a 70Wh battery and a 15.3-inch IPS display with a 2.8K resolution, 500 nits peak brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Various online listings confirm that the Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition comes with either the Core Ultra 7 Processor 256V or the Core Ultra 7 Processor 258V. Note that Lenovo only distinguishes these two processors by 16GB of RAM for the former and 32GB of RAM for the latter; Intel’s ARK database reveals no other hardware differences between these two processors, aside from the RAM capacity Intel reveals no other hardware differences between these two processors, aside from their names.
Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition price and availability
The new Aura Edition is available on Newegg.com for $1,379.99, featuring a Core Ultra 7 256V processor, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. Despite this price, it remains more affordable than the recently released Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360.
It’s important to note that Lenovo has not yet made the Core Ultra 7 258V processor available in the US, despite including it in the US “tech specs.” In contrast, Lenovo offers four SKUs in Europe and the UK.
