Xiaomi Mi4C with New Edge Tap Technology and USB Type-C Launched

Xiaomi is definitely on a launch spree as the manufacturer is constantly splashing the market with impressive smartphones. Now, as expected Xiaomi has come up with a new smartphone which was quite talkative recent month called Xiaomi Mi4C that carries a price tag of CNY 1,299 – approximately $205; INR 13,500 for 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM; while CNY 1499 – approximately $227; INR 15,500 for 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM.

The Xiaomi is one firm that is focusing on launching high-quality devices in the budget market segment. The Xiaomi Mi4C will be available for purchase on Wednesday in China while it is expected to arrive in India and other Asian regions soon.

It features a 5 inch Full HD display, a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The display with a Sunlight technology will render decent viewing angles and easy to read with good contrast and color reproduction under the heavy sunlight. Furthermore, the screen is also supported Double Tap feature that will help users to wake up the screen no double tap.

To render a highlight of the Xiaomi Mi4C is USB Type-C reversible port, there are USB Type-C Adapter which will be available at Xiaomi Mi store. The handset packed with a new their own patented technology called “Edge Tap Technology” that can feature various assigned functions when tap on the edges of the Mi4C. For example, users can on image with just one tap on the edge while double tap will take the user back to the previous page, it is very useful feature to view and click on images without touching the screen.The Xiaomi Mi4C is energized by a 1.8GHz hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor with 64-bit architecture. Xiaomi has gone done a pretty impressive job in the photography department by packing the device a 13-megapixel Samsung S5K3M2 or Sony IMX258 sensor, 5P lens, f/2.0 with faster PDAF technology. Also, there is a 5-megapixel wide 85 degree wide angle f/2.0 lens to provide a wide selfie frame enabling group selfies.
