After the announcement of the Mi TV 4S 55-inch model, the company has now added another smart TV model of its MI TV 4C series with a 50-inch screen size in the Chinese market. Like the recent Mi TV models, this new Xiaomi Mi TV 4C 50-inch is also complete with voice control, enhanced audio, and a thin design.
Xiaomi Mi TV 4C sports a 50-inch 4K HDR display and also comes with thin bezels and smart TV features at affordable prices. It has direct type backlight, 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) resolution, 178-degree wide viewing angle, and 9.5ms dynamic response.
Connectivity suite of the new TV consists of Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (2.4 / 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 + LE, 2x USB, 3x HDMI, AV, and Ethernet. It has two 8W speakers with Dolby and DTS enhancements. Coming to the key features, it also features a PatchWall, a UI layer on top of the Android OS that’s based on deep learning AI technology that can curate content based on recommendations, Dolby and DTS Audio and Mi Remote Control with gesture controls and Speech Recognition for voice control.
As for the specifications, the Xiaomi Mi TV 4C 50-inch model packs the 64-bit 1.5GHz Amlogic Cortex-A53 quad-core processor and 750MHz Mali 450 MP3 GPU with 2GB RAM and comes with 8GB of internal storage. For content, there is support for HDR 10 and HLG, H.264, H.265, Real, MPEG1/2/4, WMV3, and VC-1. In China, the new model is priced at CNY 2,199 – approximately $349, which is slightly lower than the Xiaomi Mi TV 4S 55-inch model was launched last week.
