After listing on its official website back in June this year, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has been officially launched in China. It is mid-budget device comes with a 6.9-inch 18:9 display, 6GB RAM, Dual Rear Cameras with AI features and rear fingerprint sensor from the Xiaomi being launched today.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Price and Availability
The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 price in China starts from CNY 1,699 – approximately $252 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version and the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs CNY 1,999 – approximately $296. It will be available to buy in China on July 20, 2018. The handset comes in Meteorite Black, Dream Gold, and Dark Blue color options.

The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 features a 6.9-inch 2.5D curved glass IPS LCD display with Full HD+ (2160 × 1080 pixels) resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio, 84% NTSC Color Gamut and 1500:1 contrast ratio. It has a 1.3mm slim bezels on the sides frames and metal unibody design gives it a trendy look. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core processor which supported by Snapdragon 636 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 509 GPU and 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB of storage and 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card.
On the camera front, the Mi Max 3 flaunts a dual rear camera: a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual PD focus, Sony IMX363 sensor, 1.4µm pixel size, f/1.9 aperture, along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and has AI features for the camera that can detect 206 scenes, comes with AI voice assistant. For selfie, it has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with 1.12μm pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, Selfie flash and also support for face unlock.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has a rear fingerprint sensor and the device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based on MIUI out of the box. It packs a 5500mAh battery with support from Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging as well as parallel charging. It supports hybrid SIM slot with dual standby, and for connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS, A-GPS, MIMO, Bluetooth 5, and USB C. The device measures 176.15×87.4×7.99mm and weighs 221 grams.
