Xiaomi Mi Max 2 phablet has been officially launched in China today on Thursday, it is the successor of the Xiaomi Mi Max smartphone was launched back in May 2016. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 price in China is set to CNY 1,699 – approximately $247 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM, while the 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM version costs CNY 1,999 – approximately $290. The handset is available in Gold color and will go on sale from June 1 in China.

The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a 6.44-inch IPS LCD display with 2.5D curved glass and Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution with 450nits brightness, 1000 : 1 contrast ratio, 72% NTSC color gamut. The device has all metal design with soft rounded edges. It is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core processor which supported by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 14nm chipset paired with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It packs a 64GB / 128GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card.
For optics, the Mi Mix 2 bears a 12-megapixel primary autofocus camera with Sony IMX386 sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 1.25μm pixel size, PDAF and dual-tone LED flash. It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide-angle lens to capture stunning self portraits and high quality video calling. The Mi Mix 2 also comes equipped with a rear fingerprint sensor to unlock the device quickly and also sports infrared sensor as well.
The handset runs MIUI 8 based on Android OS and packs a 5300mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging that lets you charge the phone up to 68% in one hour. It supports hybrid SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, and USB Type-C port.
