Around half a year after the China launch, Xiaomi’s new smartphone flagship series is launching in the UK. At MWC 2025, Xiaomi is officially launching the Xiaomi 15 in this country alongside the top model, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. Keep reading for updates on the Xiaomi 15 Ultra price in UK.
In addition to the Snapdragon 8 Elite, it features a 50 MP triple camera, a 120 Hz AMOLED and Xiaomi HyperOS 2. To mark the launch, Xiaomi has included various gifts, such as a projector and a smartwatch.
Minimal Design Changes from Its Predecessor
Visually, the new Xiaomi 15 hardly differs from its direct predecessor, the Xiaomi 14. At the front, there is again a 6.36-inch LTPO AMOLED panel. It has a dynamic refresh rate of 1 to 120 Hz and a resolution of 2,670 x 1,200 pixels, achieving a peak brightness of 3,200 nits.
Thinner display edges make the new Xiaomi 15 slightly smaller and lighter than its predecessor. However, according to the manufacturer, the micro-curved aluminum frame makes it up to 33 percent more stable.
Snapdragon 8 Elite, Triple 50 MP Cameras & Compact Battery Design
Under the hood of the Xiaomi 15, as already known from China, is the current flagship chipset, Snapdragon 8 Elite from Qualcomm. Xiaomi combines this with 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512 GB UFS 4.0 storage space. The power supply is provided by a 5,240 mAh battery. It is, therefore, slightly smaller than Xiaomi’s home market but also charges globally with 90 W HyperCharge or 50 W wirelessly.
On the back, another square module houses a triple camera system with three 50 MP resolutions. The primary camera features Summilux optics from Leica, a 7P aspherical high-transmission lens with an anti-reflective coating, and a large f/1.62 aperture. It also includes optical stabilization and sits on the Light Fusion 900 image sensor, which offers a high dynamic range. This setup enables shots at focal lengths of 23 mm, 28 mm, and 35 mm. There is also a 60 mm floating telephoto camera (f/2.0, OIS) with macro function and a 14 mm ultra-wide-angle camera (f/2.2). In addition to 8K recordings at up to 30 fps, the Xiaomi 15 also has a 32 MP (f/2.0) selfie cam on the front.
The new Xiaomi HyperOS 2 is pre-installed as the operating system on the Xiaomi 15. It comes with numerous AI functions from Xiaomi HyperAI and Google Gemini. In addition, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0, 5G SA and NSA, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and a fingerprint sensor are included. These features round off the Xiaomi 15.

The Xiaomi 15 price in UK starts from £999 with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. However, it is available for £986.90 only on Amazon.co.uk with a free Xiaomi Watch 5. It is available in four colors: Black, White, Green, and Liquid Silver (with shimmering curves made of heat-bent glass).
