The Witcher 3 is preparing to receive the new update that will introduce full compatibility with Xbox One X and will allow you to play the title in 4K UHD resolution even on the Microsoft flagship. The news comes directly from the Redmond support page, which lists all the current gaming titles will be updated in the future.
Recently, the page has updated the features that will be supported by The Witcher 3 and among these now also figure the compatibility with the HDR standard. The news is particularly interesting since the previous declarations had not mentioned the HDR support, but only the 4K resolution, as happened to the PlayStation 4 Pro.
The Wither 3 update should also cover Xbox One S, already able to play HDR games, and could be an indication of the arrival of this feature on PC and PlayStation 4. The Xbox One X patch does not have an official date yet, but it should be on its way.
