The Taiwanese company MSI has introduced the new Optix G274QRFW gaming screen in a chic white color. The 27 inch white gaming monitor has a Rapid IPS panel with WQHD resolution (2560×1440 pixels), a maximum refresh rate of 170 Hz, and HDR support.
However, the brightness is only 300 cd/m², which should not ensure a particularly convincing HDR experience. Other features of the new MSI white computer monitor are a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 10-bit color depth (8-bit + FRC), 1 ms response time (grey to gray), 125 percent sRGB, 90 percent DCI-P3, and 85 percent Adobe RGB.
Tearing-free gaming sessions are guaranteed thanks to FreeSync Premium and G-Sync-compatible Adaptive Sync. The range of interfaces includes two HDMI 2.0b inputs (WQHD at max. 144 Hz ), a DisplayPort 1.4 (WQHD at max. 170 Hz), and a headphone output.
In terms of ergonomics, rotation, tilt, height adjustment, pivot, VESA mount (75 x 75 mm), blue light filtering, and a flicker-free backlight are offered. RGB lighting elements are attached to the back of the monitor. Meanwhile, a black stabilizer can be controlled via the OSD to brighten dark areas in games. The MSI white monitor weighs 3.95 kg without a stand.
