Western Digital launches a new portable storage system under its G-Speed Shuttle brand, primarily aimed at professionals who need a portable solution that combines high performance with capacity.
The G-Speed Shuttle is equipped with a dual interface Thunderbolt 3 and consists of 4 bay, all for a maximum capacity of 48TB. The system mounts 7200RPM enterprise hard disk drives that can be configured in RAID 0,1,5 and 10. The speed reaches up to 1000 MB/s, representing a valid option for those who work seriously with high-resolution video and image management.
The Western Digital G-Speed Shuttle with Thunderbolt 3 has a compact design and allows a good portability, with the possibility of a second option characterized by the use of bays with ev Series adapters that provide better flexibility and added functionality thanks to compatibility with drives and EV series readers.
