Voigtlander 28mm f2.8 Color-Skopar SLIIs Lens for Nikon F

Cosina is expanding its Voigtländer SLII-S range of fixed focal lengths with the new Voigtlander 28mm f2.8 Color-Skopar SLIIs lens with Nikon F mount, in addition to the previous: Ultron 40mm f2.0 SL II-S and Nokton 58mm f1.4 SL II-S.

The new manual 28mm f2.8 Color-Skopar Asph SL II-S has, like the other two current Voigtländer SLII-S lenses, both the classic aperture and an Ai coupler and is thanks to the CPU Nikon Ai-S compatible. It enables the use of a wide variety of camera bodies, from analog SLR cameras to the latest digital SLR cameras.

The compact housing design is based on the classic Nikon lenses from the manual, analog era of the 1970s. The manual focus helps with precise focusing. The minimum focus setting is only 15 cm.

Voitgtländer comments on the new lens that it is a wide-angle lens with extremely sharp imaging performance right into the edge areas. Due to its near limit of only 15 cm, the dynamic perspective of a wide angle lens can be optimally implemented. The lens is equipped with an optical system of 7 elements in 6 groups, including an aspherical element on both sides.

The new lens is available in two housing versions. One version is in black, and one with the two-tone has a silver rim with the filter screw thread on the front mount.
