The Vivo Y93s has been officially launched in China, and it is a variant of the recently announced Vivo Y93 at the beginning of November. The Y93s comes with a different chipset, it is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) SoC, while the Y93 was based on Snapdragon 439 CPU.
Vivo Y93s Price and Availability
The Vivo Y93s price in China has been set at CNY 1,698 – approximately $245 for the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage. The device is offered via the Vivo website in the two Aurora Red and Zixia Red color options, while in the future, it will also be sold in the Starry Night Black and Aurora Blue colors, all of which are equipped with the usual gradient effect.

The Vivo Y93s features a 6.22-inch 2.5D curved glass display with HD+ (1520 × 1080 pixels) resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio and top waterdrop Notch. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) 12nm SoC process with a Cortex-A53 octa-core CPU up to 2.0GHz and coupled with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The NeuroPilot support of MediaTek is also there, the technology of the Taiwanese chipmaker dedicated to the management of Machine Learning operations.
On the camera front, the Y93 flaunts a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera for portrait shots. For selfie, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with a wide lens. The Vivo Y93 lacks a fingerprint sensor, but there is a support for face unlock. The device packs 4GB of RAM and a 128GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.
The handset runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based on Funtouch OS 4.5 out of the box. It packs a 4030mAh battery with dual SIM slot. For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 5, and USB 2.0. The device measures 155.1 × 75.09 × 8.28mm and weighs 163.5 grams.
