Vivo X200: Modern Display, Zeiss Camera, and 90W Fast Charging

The new basic model of the Zeiss camera flagships adopts the more modern, quadruple-curved display design that gives the entire Vivo X200 series its distinctive look. While the display appears nearly flat, it is a key upgrade from its predecessor. Other enhancements include larger batteries, a slimmer housing, and an upgraded camera system.

Shared Features Across the Vivo X200 Series

The base model of the Vivo X200 series shares many similarities with the Vivo X200 Pro Mini and Vivo X200 Pro. All models are powered by the same Dimensity 9400 chip. The base model also features a Micro Four curved display that measures 6.67 inches—slightly smaller than the Pro model—but still offers the same high-quality design and user-friendly experience.

The symmetrical front design is notable, with thin 1.63mm edges on all four sides. The display is a Zeiss-calibrated, dynamic LTPO panel, supporting a refresh rate from 0.1 to 120 Hz, Dolby Vision, and a maximum brightness of up to 4,500 nits.

Camera System with Zeiss Collaboration

Vivo’s new Zeiss camera in the X200 is equipped with three 50-megapixel sensors. The main camera boasts a 1/1.56-inch sensor with an F/1.57 aperture. Additionally, there’s a 1/2.76-inch ultra-wide-angle lens with an F/2.0 aperture and a 3x periscope telephoto lens featuring the new 1/1.95-inch IMX882 sensor with an F/2.57 aperture.

The main camera and the telephoto lens feature optical stabilization and support 4K video recording. However, this model does not support 4K120 or Dolby Vision video recording, which is available in the Pro model.

Battery and Case Improvements

Compared to the Vivo X100, the X200 model reduces its case thickness from 8.8 mm to 8 mm. Despite the thinner design, the battery capacity has increased from 5,000 mAh to 5,800 mAh, supporting 90-watt fast charging via USB-C.

Caution with LTE Band Support

When importing this model, users should note that the Chinese specifications do not support LTE Band 20, unlike the Pro model. This could affect network compatibility in certain regions.
