Viltrox AF 24mm f1.8 Z and 35mm f1.8 Nikon Z Lenses announced

Viltrox has introduced two high-aperture autofocus Nikon Z lenses: AF 24mm f1.8 Z and AF 35mm f1.8 Z. Both Nikon Z lenses feature an elegant design, the wide-angle focal length is combined with a maximum aperture of f/1.8 to accommodate a wide range of lighting conditions and provide improved depth-of-field control.

The optical design includes a 9 blade diaphragm, three extra-low dispersion elements, and two aspherical elements, which together suppress various aberrations for sharpness, clarity, and color accuracy. Also included in the formula are three high refractive index elements to suppress various aberrations and distortion, as well as HD Nano multi-layer coating to reduce flare and ghosting for greater contrast in bright light and backlit conditions.

These compact Nikon Z lenses are equipped with an STM stepping motor for fast, near-silent, and accurate autofocusing as well as a continuous manual override. Internal focusing design also contributes to quick work. The lens has a solid metal construction and a built-in USB Type-C port for future firmware updates.
