Viltrox Epic 35mm, 50mm, and 75mm T2.0 1.33x Anamorphic Cine Lenses Announced

Viltrox, a Chinese camera equipment manufacturer, recently announced the release of their new line of Epic 35mm, 50mm, and 75mm T2.0 1.33x lenses. These Anamorphic Cine lenses are designed for use with full-frame cameras with Sony E, Nikon Z, Leica L, and PL mounts and offer a bright T2.0 aperture, which allows for a shallow depth of field and beautiful bokeh.

The Viltrox 35mm T2.0 1.33x lens offers a wide field of view and is great for capturing landscapes and architectural shots. Its minimum focusing distance of 2’7ft allows for close-up shots with a sharp, detailed foreground and a smoothly blurred background. The lens also features an 8-blade aperture for smooth bokeh and is constructed with 13 elements in 19 groups to reduce chromatic aberrations and produce high-quality images.

All the Anamorphic Cine are made of metal and come in a full-frame and APS-C sensor version, which means that it’s designed to cover larger image circles, suitable for both full-frame or APS-C-sized sensors.

Vazen recently introduced a 135mm T2.8 1.8x anamorphic lens for full-frame cameras with Canon EF and PL mounts. Thus, the set of anamorphic optics for the company’s full-frame now includes three lenses – 135 mm complements the previously presented 50 mm T2.1 and 85 mm T2.8 anamorphic lenses.
