Shenzhen Jueying Technology has introduced its first full-frame fast autofocus telephoto lens, Viltrox AF 135mm F1.8 Lab FE. As the model name suggests, the bayonet is an E-mount. Interestingly, a small screen on the body displays the shooting parameters.
The optical design consists of 14 elements in 9 groups, including 4 ED and 2 HR lenses, which promise sharpness from the center of the frame to the edges. The Prime telephoto lens has a Hyper VCM focusing motor, which the company says provides 150% faster focusing speed and micron-level accuracy. The minimum focusing distance is 72 cm, and the maximum magnification is 0.25x.
The lens features two Fn buttons, allowing easy access to your preferred custom settings. It also has a multilayer nanocoating for protection against water, dust, and other potential damage.

Sony recently unveiled the 85mm f1.4 GM II lens, promising exceptional resolution, stunning bokeh, and a compact, lightweight design. The lens features two XA (extreme aspherical) elements, capturing eyes and expressions with incredible clarity.
Sony’s Nano AR Coating II enhances image quality by reducing flare and ghosting, even in challenging lighting. The lens has a minimum focus distance of 2.79 feet (0.85 meters) for autofocus and 2.63 feet (0.8 meters) for manual focus, allowing sharp, detailed close-ups. It costs $1,798.
