ViewSonic VG2448a-2 office monitor with advanced ergonomics

ViewSonic has announced a new 24 inch computer monitor for office use. The ViewSonic VG2448a-2 comes with an IPS panel with Full HD resolution (1920×1080 pixels), a maximum refresh rate of 60 Hz, a 1000:1 contrast, and a color depth of 8 bits (6 bits + FRC).

The new ViewSonic monitor has a typical brightness of 250 cd/m², the response time at 5 ms (grey to gray), and the sRGB coverage at 102 percent. Sync technology against tearing in games has not made it on board, but two internal 2-watt speakers, a blue light filter, and a flicker-free backlight have. The interface selection includes DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4, VGA, and a USB 3.2 hub.

The 1080p monitor can be rotated, tilted, height adjusted, and pivoted. Thanks to the VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), wall mounting is possible without any problems if required. The ViewSonic VG2448a-2 consumes between 12.2 and 20 watts in operation and weighs 3.2 kg without the stand.
