Venus Optics Laowa 4mm F2.8 Fish eye Lens for L Mount

The “Anhui ChangGeng Optical Technology Company Limited”, which sells its lenses under “Venus Optics” and the “Laowa” brand, has recently announced a new Laowa 4mm F2.8 Fish eye Lens for L-mount.

Laowa 4mm F2.8 Fish eye L-Mount

The Venus Optics Laowa 4mm F2.8 Fisheye for L-Mount offers 210 degrees angle of view with a circular fisheye perspective. With two combined images, 360-degree panoramas can be created. The large angle of view in connection with the high light intensity of f2.8 also makes the lens interesting for astrophotographers. With its low weight of 196 grams, the lens is also well suited for use with drones. It is also very compact with a length of 33 mm and a diameter of only 57 mm. The focus is just as manual as the aperture setting.

The Leica lens weighs only 4.8 oz making it extremely portable and allows photographers to have creative shots anywhere, anytime. The lens can also be mounted on DJI Inspire X5 cameras for creating unique captures.

The compact size and light weight also make it perfect for various shooting set up such as selfies, vlog, skateboard shooting, 360° panorama, VR imaging, virtual tours, or even fly with drones. Smarten up your aerial shots with an angle that no one else has ever seen.
