After the availability of the Laowa 9mm F5.6 RF RL wide angle rectilinear prime lens, three more new Venus Optics wide angle Cine Prime lenses: Laowa 15mm T2.1 Zero-D for the Feet, Meters and Sony E mounts, Laowa 9mm T2.9 Zero-D for Feet, Fuji X, MFT, and Sony E mount, and Laowa 7.5mm T2.1 for Feet and MFT, are now available to pre-order via the BH Photo store.

Laowa 15mm T2.1

This new Venus Optics prime lens provides ultra wide-angle coverage up to 110° on the Full Frame camera system. It is currently the widest T2.1 lens in the market covering a large format sensor. It comes with standard 0.8 mod gears on both apertures and focuses rings. A standard 77mm filter thread is designed to mount screw-in filters easily. The lens also features a superb optical distortion control with all straight lines retained.

The Laowa 15mm T2.1 Zero-D Cine lens is designed for full-frame / vista vision sensors. Offering a distortion-free 110° Angle of view, it is perfect for architecture and cityscape shots. The large T/2.1 aperture also makes it extremely useful to shoot in low light situations. The lens incorporates a pair of aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements to suppress both spherical and chromatic aberrations.

Laowa 9mm T2.9

A new prime lens with ultra wide-angle coverage up to 113° angle of view (100° on MFT system). The lens has a small size light in weight match perfectly with mirrorless cameras and is suitable for use with gimbals. It has 0.8 mod gears on both aperture and focuses rings, a 55mm filter thread, Two aspherical elements plus Three extra-low dispersion elements.

Laowa 9mm covers up to Super 35 sensor size. A T2.9 large aperture is also extremely useful for filmmakers to shoot under low light situations and controlling depth of field. Including a pair of aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements, the 13 elements in 9 groups optical design successfully controls both spherical and chromatic aberrations to the minimal.

This ultra wide-angle lens comes with coverage up to 110° on the MFT system. A standard 0.8 mod gears on both aperture and focus rings, a 49mm filter thread, Two aspherical elements plus Three extra-low dispersion elements to correct chromatic aberration, close-to-zero distortion and deliver excellent corner to corner sharpness. The lens comes with an M43 mount and works flawlessly with any MFT cameras like Blackmagic Pocket 4k, Panasonic GH5, and Z-Cam E2.

This new Laowa 7.5mm Cine lens is currently the widest T2.1 lens available in the market for Micro Four Thirds cameras. Bright T2.1 maximum aperture is well-suited for work under low-light conditions.
