US unlocked Moto G4 Plus smartphone has started receiving the Android Nougat update. Notably, the update that’s rolling out in USA for unlocked Moto G4 Plus model XT1644 with size of up to 741MB.
The company warns users that the Android Nougat update should be downloaded and installed on when the phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network, and only if the phone has more than 50 percent charge. It also warns that the update will take up to 20 minutes to install. According to the manufacture, incoming changes include new multitasking features, Multi-window view, Work mode, more efficient notification controls, Doze on the go, improved data saver, Just-in-time compiler, battery features, custom quick settings, and much more.
Unlocked Moto G4 Plus users in USA should start seeing a notification for the update, which says “new system software is available!”. Users who see this message should select Yes, I’m in, and once the update is downloaded, click on Install Now. Those who haven’t received a message should go to Settings > About Phone > System updates to check for availability, and then if an update is available, follow the above process.
Apart from the US unlocked Moto G4 Plus Android Nougat update, recently the company had announced the Moto G5 Plus in USA, priced at $229.99 for 32GB and $299.99 for 64GB variants. But the users who accept Amazon Ads to show up on their device get a $45 Amazon Gift card for the 32GB model and $60 Amazon Gift card for 64GB model. At such a low price, the device comes with a Google Assistant, fingerprint scanner and 12MP rear camera.
