Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Price in USA and Availability

Samsung has finally lifted the curtain on one of the most anticipated smartphone of the year: its top Galaxy S8 range. Or rather, the top of the range as for the past two years, the two models introduced are – Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+.

Samsung Galaxy S8 & Galaxy S8+ Features:

Both devices come with in-house voice-based virtual assistant named Bixby. As expected, Samsung’s Bixby will be taking on other voice-based virtual assistants powered by artificial intelligence including Apple’s Siri, Google Assistant, Microsoft Cortana and Amazon’s Alexa. The Galaxy S8 will come with a set of pre-installed apps that will work with Bixby.

Both devices also support iris recognition, the biometric recognition scans iris to unlock the phone, verify Samsung account, and more. Facial recognition is a biometric authentication method that users can choose to use. Additionally, both the devices also sport fingerprint scanner which is located at the back.

The company also introduced the Samsung DeX, which will let users use smartphone like a computer by docking it to monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Similar to the Galaxy S7, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are dust and water resistant with IP68 certification. Both the handsets run on the company’s UI based on Android 7.0 Nougat.

Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Price in USA and Availability

While Samsung did not officially announce the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ price at its event, but Unlocked International version pricing has been obtained by Amazon.com. The Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S8 price in the store at $999.99 and $1,299.99 for the Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S8+.

Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be available in USA from April 28 in the Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Arctic Silver, Coral Blue and Maple Gold color options. The pre-orders are already active on the store and will last until April 18.
