Nokia 7.1 pre-order has been commenced in USA via Amazon online store. HMD Global unveiled its latest mid-range smartphone with new features at an event in London last week. The new handsets feature a 19:9 PureDisplay with HDR support a notch up top, a Snapdragon 636 SoC, fast charging USB Type-C, dual rear camera setup with Zeiss optics, and an Android Pie upgrade coming next month.

For the online option, the pre-ordering can be done on Amazon.com starting from Monday. The Nokia 7.1 Price in USA has been set at $349.00. HMD Global will likely launch this phone in the US on October 26th given that pre-bookings are open. The handset comes in Gloss Midnight Blue and Gloss Steel color options.

The Nokia 7.1 features a 5.84-inch HDR10 PureDisplay with Full HD+ (2244 × 1080 pixels) resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and 80% screen-to-body ratio. The device also has support for HDR, SD to HDR real-time conversion along with HDR10 support; 1 million: 1 dynamic contrast ratio; 500-million pixels processed per second providing smooth and accurate HDR video. The display also adapts to indoor and bright outdoor sunlight.

The device is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core processor which supported by Snapdragon 636 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 509 GPU and 3GB/4GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It packs a 32GB/64GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 400GB. It has a 6000 series aluminum frame and uses dual-anodized diamond cut colored edge.

On the camera front, the Nokia 7.1 a 12-megapixel (RGB) rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, 1.28 um pixel size, ZEISS optics, along with a 5-megapixel (Monochrome) secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture, and 1.12um pixel size. For selfie, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 84-degree FOV and AI facial recognition.

The handset has a fingerprint sensor on the back panel and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, but the company has promised Android 9.0 Pie update soon. It packs a 3060mAh battery with support for USB Type-C fast charging that can charge the phone from 0 to 50% in just 30 minutes.

It supports hybrid SIM slot with dual standby. For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5, NFC, and USB C 2.0. The device measures 149.7 x 71.18 x 7.99mm and weighs 160 grams.
