Ultimate Ears has announced the launch of the UE Wonderboom wireless speaker at a price of $100. Ultimate Ears Wonderboom has quite compact design when compared to the UE Boom 2 one the popular Ultimate Ears Boom speaker.
The UE Wonderboom comes with a wireless range of up to 100 feet and surprisingly louder when looking at its compact design. It is available in six different colors including Stone (gray), Phantom (black), Fireball (red), SubZero (blue), Cashmere (pink), and Lilac (purple).
This ultimate ears bluetooth speaker is also suitably weather resistant and tolerant of rough use. It has an IPX7 water-resistance rating, as well as drop resistance from up to 5 feet. It’s rated to run for 10 hours on a full charge, and it has large Volume up and down buttons on it body and also one tap button on the top to control your music when you don’t have the phone in your hand. Using an app for iOS or Android, you can also connect the UE Wonderboom with any other UE speaker to double the sound, remotely turn the device on from your phone, or use it as an alarm.
The Ultimate Ears Wonderboom will soon be available, as sales are scheduled to go on in April in North America, Australia, and select countries in Europe.
Ultimate Ears also launched the UE Roll 2 wireless Bluetooth speaker in mid 2016. It is 15% louder than its predecessor, and also comes with a longer wireless range of 30m (100 feet). This ultimate ears speakers has a 360-degree waterproof design similar to UE Boom 2, which promises up to 9 hours of battery life.
