TTartisan 50mm f1.2 Lens for Leica L and Nikon Z Mount

TTartisan has finally made available the new 50mm f1.2 manual focus lens for Leica L mount cameras including Leica T, TL, TL2, CL, and Sigma FP in APS-C mode; and Nikon Z mount including Z50, and Nikon Z full-frame models in APS-C mode.

The TTartisan 50mm f1.2 lens was first introduced back in December for Canon EF-M, Fujifilm X-mount, MFT, and Sony E-mount cameras. And now Amazon.com has listed the lens for the Leica L and Nikon Z cameras for $83 only.

The equivalent focus length of a full-frame is about 75mm, the perfect assistant for Portrait photography. The large aperture of F1.2 gets rid of a cluttered background and highlights the subject. Smooth bokeh enhances image quality, and the larger aperture lowers the sharpness. F1.2 is a good balance between the pursuit of a large aperture and image quality.

The new 50mm lens does not have an autofocus drive. The optical design of this optics consists of 7 elements in 5 groups. The aperture is 10-blade, and the minimum focusing distance of the lens is 50 cm. The filter thread for this lens is 52 mm, the length of the optics is 60 mm, and its weight is 336 grams.

A few days ago, Sigma has also introduced a new 35mm F1.4 DG DN Art Full Frame Lens for Sony E and Leica L-mount mirrorless cameras. The Sigma lens consists of 9 blades and 15 elements in 11 groups, including special low dispersion (SLD) elements, ultra-low dispersion (ELD) elements, low F dispersion (FLD) elements, and aspherical elements.
