TTArtisan 25mm f2 for Sony E, Fuji X, Canon M, RF, MFT, Nikon Z, and L-Mount

TTArtisan has announced a new 25mm f2 lens for cameras with APS-C multi-mount sensors. The company says it’s the “best budget lens” for Sony E, Fujifilm X, EOS-M, Micro Four Thirds, Canon RF, Nikon Z, and Leica L mounts in a compact design.

TTArtisan 25mm f2 wide lens

The focal length of the wide lens is equivalent to a full frame of 37.5 mm, which, according to TTArtisan, is “close to the natural field of human vision” and therefore meets the needs of shooting various objects. The viewing angle is 61 degrees.

Structurally, the lens consists of seven elements in five groups with manual focus without electronic communication. It has a front filter diameter of 43 mm and a weight of 166 to 189 grams.

The lens has a relatively large f/2 maximum aperture, which TTArtisan says not only makes shooting in low light possible but also creates “beautiful bokeh” in out-of-focus areas. It has a full f/2 to f/16 range with a seven-blade aperture that, like the focus, is fully manual.

The TTArtisan 25mm f2 has a minimum focus distance of 0.25 meters, allowing you to shoot subjects up close to show details.

Price and availability

The new TTArtisan 25mm f/2 lens is now available for order on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk at $72.90 / £75. This price for a compact lens with a maximum aperture of f/2 is a very good deal, even if the lens isn’t great, especially for beginner photographers looking to experiment with a new lens.
