As promised, the Kenko Tokina Co., Ltd has now made available its new Tokina atx-m 56mm F1.4 X lens for Fujifilm X APS-C mirrorless cameras. The ‘atx-m’ series now has three focal lengths for the Fuji X system: 23mm F1.4 X, 33mm F1.4 X, and 56mm F1.4 X.
So this Tokina lenses kit allows you to capture the main scenes with Fuji cameras: landscape, street, and portrait. All three lenses are equipped with quality optics and an STM stepping motor for fast, accurate autofocusing.
This new portrait lens with a large f/1.4 aperture and “soft tones” has a compact and lightweight design. Despite the metal body of the lens, it weighs 315g and has a compact filter size with a diameter of 52mm.
The optical design, which realizes soft flavor and bokeh, uses 9 aperture blades, with particular attention to the shape of the background blur. The STM stepper motor achieves quiet, fast, and accurate autofocusing for movie enthusiasts. The optical formula of the novelty is 10 elements in 9 groups.
Like the atx-m 23mm F1.4 X and atx-m 33mm F1.4 X, this lens is also designed exclusively for APS-C mirrorless cameras.
