Tokina atx-m 11-18mm F2.8 Released for Fujifilm X

Japanese company Tokina has released an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens for mirrorless cameras. Tokina previously released the atx-m 11-18mm F2.8 for Sony E mount cameras before launching it for Fujifilm X. The Tokina 11-18mm f2.8 Fuji X lens has a lightweight and compact body suitable for photos and videos.

In full-frame equivalent, the optics will give 17-27mm; that is, they will allow you to shoot with a wide angle of view and simultaneously choose the focal length for a specific scene.

The Tokina atx-m 11-18mm F2.8 X lens delivers high resolution throughout the focal length range. The lens boasts high contrast, low distortion, and fast and accurate autofocus response in both photo and video modes.

The Tokina 11-18mm f2.8 Fuji X lens is suitable for landscapes, architecture, astrophotography, street photography, documentary filming, and vlogging.

The new lens’s optical design comprises 13 elements in 11 groups, including 2 aspherical and 2 extra-low dispersion glass elements that suppress chromatic aberrations.

Tokina is said to have supported image stabilization, eye-detection autofocus, and optical corrections, so the lens should be fully compatible with Fujifilm cameras.
