Tokina Vista 180mm T1.9 for Sony E, Canon EF, MFT, ARRI PL, and LPL

The new Tokina Vista 180mm T1.9 cinema lens is now available for pre-order on online marketplaces, offering filmmakers a highly sought-after telephoto lens. The lens provides a natural perspective that accentuates the faces of subjects and creates a beautiful blur when needed. It is equally suitable for Super35 and larger formats up to Vista Vision.

The lens complements the existing lineup of eleven high-resolution 18, 21, 25, 29, 35, 40, 50, 65, 85, 105 and 135mm T1.5 Vista Prime lenses supporting high-resolution 8K+ shooting.

The Tokina 180m T1.9 has the same build quality and great optical performance that users have come to expect from the Vista line. It retains the form factor of other Vista models and has the same front diameter of 114mm and weight.

The new lens has an optical design of 14 groups of 17 elements. Lens distortion and chromatic aberration are well controlled, with minimal focus fluctuation, soft pleasing highlights, and smooth transitions from subject to background. The diaphragm is rounded, nine-bladed.

The Tokina 180m T1.9 is a good choice for cameras with large sensors such as the RED Monstro 8K VV and ARRI Alexa LF Mini. The lens covers large sensor formats up to Alexa 65 2:1 Open Gate. It is available with ARRI PL, Canon EF, Micro Four Thirds, Sony E, and ARRI LPL mounts.
