With the TicWatch Pro 3, a new smartwatch from Mobvoi is now available to buy on Amazon. By using the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 platform, the model is said to be the manufacturer’s fastest GPS Smartwatch to date.
After the specifications of the TicWatch Pro 2020, 3 GPS were leaked in advance, the manufacturer not only confirmed the new tic watch but also released it on the market. The TicWatch Pro 3, which measures 47 x 48 x 12.2 millimeters and weighs around 42 grams, is based on the Snapdragon 4100 and can access a 1 GB of RAM. The internal memory measures 8 GB, and Wear OS is used as the operating system. The 577mAh battery should last up to 72 hours in smart mode, and according to Mobvoi, the possible runtime is 45 days in restricted essential mode.
Only the energy-saving FSTN display mounted above the AMOLED panel is used. The model comes with a module for recording its own position, whereby Beidou, Glonass, Galileo, and QZSS are supported in addition to GPS. In addition to recording the heart rate, it also supports measuring oxygen saturation and stress levels. There is also a built-in microphone that can record the ambient noise in a range from 30 to 120 dB.
The recording of the air pressure and thus the current altitude is possible with a built-in barometer. As usual, the recording of numerous sports and the analysis of training units are supported in special modes, whereby training according to heart rate ranges is also possible. The one certified via IP68 is approved for swimming by the manufacturer.
