Thermaltake Smart BM2 Modular Power Supply for PC with Combo Cable Systems

Thermaltake has expanded its range of products with four Smart BM2 series Modular Power Supply for PC. These are PS-SPD-0450MNFABx-1, PS-SPD-0550MNFABx-1, PS-SPD-0650MNFABx, and PS-SPD -0750MNFABx models with 450 W, 550 W, 650 W, and 750 W respectively. They are 80 Plus Bronze certified.  

Modular Power Supply for PC

The new Thermaltake Modular PSU uses a DC-to-DC conversion, single + 12V rail, and active PFC. They provide protection against a variety of abnormal conditions.

The units are equipped with combined cable systems. Cables with a 24-pin ATX connector, a primary 8-pin EPS connector, and an additional 8-pin (4 + 4) EPS connector on all four models are rigidly secured. The 450W and 550W models offer two 8-pin (6 + 2) PCIe power connectors, while the 650W and 750W PowerSupply models offer four each. A 750 W PSU can have cables with up to nine SATA power connectors, while the other Power Supply for PC models are limited to six. All models offer four Molex and Berg connectors. The complete flat cables are enclosed in black insulation.
The components are cooled with 140mm fans. Thermaltake Smart BM2 Series PSUs are backed by a five-year warranty.

Thermaltake Smart BM2 Modular Power Supply for PC is now available to buy on the Newegg.com website, pricing starts from $79.99 for the model with the 550W model.  

Gigabyte recently announced a new GP-P750GM modular power supply for PC, the changes in the circuitry and the choice of new materials have reduced the length of the 750W PSU from the usual 16-18 cm to 14 cm.
