Samsung’s popular Frame smart TV lineup received its first “Pro” model in 2025. This new LS03FW model promises significantly improved picture quality and quality-of-life features, including 144Hz gaming and a wireless One Connect Box.
Samsung’s The Frame smart TV combines the look of a picture frame with a TV. It can display artwork on a wall in standby mode instead of being just a big black rectangle like most smart TVs. However, The Frame has always been an average device, at best, in terms of specifications.
This is precisely what The Frame Pro aims to change: Samsung is finally bringing mini-LED lighting to the series. However, these mini-LEDs are placed only on the bottom edge and not behind the entire panel, as with Samsung’s Neo QLED smart TVs. As a result, The Frame Pro will likely offer far fewer dimming zones than a conventional mini-LED TV. Nevertheless, its brightness and contrast will still benefit from the mini-LEDs.
The new LS03FW model features a higher refresh rate (144 Hz) and a wireless connection box (One Connect Box). Users can connect devices such as the PlayStation 5 to this box via HDMI and transmit the video stream wirelessly to the smart TV, meaning they only need a power cable for The Frame Pro. The box should work up to 10 meters away, even in the presence of obstacles.
The Frame Pro smart TV with Alexa built-in features a dedicated AI button on its remote control, allowing users to access information like the actors’ names currently on screen and filming locations of specific scenes. Other AI-powered services also exist: For example, Samsung Food recognizes dishes and displays corresponding recipes, while Live Translate automatically converts subtitles into the chosen language.

It is now available for pre-order on Amazon and B&H Photo at a starting price of $2,197.99 for the model with 65-inch, $3,197.99 for 75 and $4,297.99.
