TerraMaster U4-111 Rack Networked Storage Server With 4-Bay and 10GbE Port

TerraMaster has announced the availability of a U4-111 rack-mountable networked storage server. At the heart of this NAS is an Intel Celeron J3455 quad-core processor, clocked at 1.5-2.3 GHz. It has 4 GB of RAM at its disposal. The RAM can be expanded up to 8 GB by adding a 4 GB module in the only available slot.

TerraMaster U4-111 server storage supports four 2.5” or 3.5” SATA drives. Their total volume can reach up to 72 TB. The 10GbE NAS is equipped with a 10gbase-sr port, two 1 GbE ports, and two USB 3.0 ports. Configured with four 6TB Seagate IronWolf hard drives combined into a RAID 0 array, the U4-111 delivers up to 650MB/s read and 670MB / s write speeds over 10GbE connectivity.

The TerraMaster Rack also supports the Plex media server, allowing 4K videos to be converted and played on your other devices. The Plex mediaserver keeps all your photos, videos, and music organized and prepared for Plex streaming to your PC, mobile device, game console, or other certified media player.

The TerraMaster U4-111 features the enterprise version of the TerraMaster TOS and supports a wide range of professional applications. It supports a full range of SMBs, AFP, NFS, ISCSI, and FTP file services. It also supports virtual machines like VirtualBox, a powerful open-source x86 AMD64/Intel64 virtualization server tool. VirtualBox is used to establish a virtual server in storage devices which allows servers to maximize and take advantage of other server resources.

There are three 40mm fans on the back of the NAS. The built-in power supply is 250 W, and the dimensions of the storage server are 440 x 664 x 45 mm.

Recently, TerraMaster has also included the D2 Clone USB External Hard Drive Enclosure, a 2-bay device that can be used for drive cloning (such as backing up or archiving data) and external storage, priced at $119.99.
