TerraMaster F8-422 NAS with 10GbE port, and 8-Bay Drives

TerraMaster has added the F8-422 simple storage network to its range. It is built on a quad-core Intel Celeron J3455 processor, clocked at 1.5-2.3 GHz, and the amount of RAM is 8 GB.

The network-attached storage has eight drive bays of 3.5 or 2.5 inches with a SATA interface, the total volume of which can be up to 128 TB. Hot-swappable drives are also supported. The NAS network attached storage is equipped with a 10 GbE port and two 1 GbE ports. Besides, there are two USB 3.0 ports.

TerraMaster F8-422 features advanced data protection, prevention of data corruption, and minimal maintenance expenses. There is Optimized snapshot technology generates 1,024 snapshots for every shared folder and up to 71,680 overall system snapshots. There are also support for Apple Time Machine, Rsync, and Remote Backup support as well as third-party backup solutions, and Cloud Sync synchronization.

The NAS network attached storage comes with up to two concurrent 4K video transcoding provides hassle-free and high-quality video playback among various devices including high-definition TVs, digital media players, mobile handsets, and computers in the required format.

Cooling of drives is provided by a metal storage casing and two 90mm fans. The user can select a low, medium, or maximum speed of their rotation. Also, you can select automatic mode or turn off the fans completely. The network storage has a 300 W power supply. With dimensions is 266 x 184 x 315 mm, and the NAS weighs 5.3 kg.
