Techart has released the new TZE-02 lens adapter for Sony E mount lens to Nikon Z mount cameras. This is an improved version of the previous TZE-01 model with support for image stabilization and manual focus lenses.

Techart TZE-02 lens adapter is compatible with Z-mount full-frame mirrorless cameras including Nikon Z 7II, Z 6II, Z 7, Z 6, and Z 5. At the moment it is not compatible with APS-C Z-mount cameras such as Nikon Z fc and Nikon Z 50.
The new Sony E – Nikon Z is an ultra-thin autofocus adapter to convert the lenses in Sony E mount into Nikon Z. It also incorporates a CPU chip which can ‘translate’ the protocol of Sony to Nikon so that the Autofocus, Auto-Aperture, and Lens Stabilisation functions can all be retained.
Face and Eye detection, EXIF reading, Timelapse function can also be supported. Phase-detect AF is used and therefore the AF speed is on par with using native Z mount lenses on the cameras.
Currently, the Samyang or Rokinon lenses are still incompatible when using this mount. Hopefully, Techart will provide a new firmware update that will make these lenses compatible with the Nikon Z mounts. MF lenses are currently not supported too, and Techart also does not suggest anyone to using together with the Techart PRO adapter.

The new Techart TZE-02 adapter is available for purchase at $249 only at the Bhphotovideo.com website.
