TCL has launched the 2025 T8C QLED HDR Smart TV in the UK. The TV features an HVA panel, 144Hz Motion Clarity Pro, and support for Dolby Vision. It also offers a range of gaming features, including the 288Hz Game Accelerator and a superwide screen resolution.
With a 4K resolution and advertised 144Hz Motion Clarity Pro, the T8C offers impressive performance despite its native refresh rate of 120Hz. The HVA panel provides enhanced contrast, with a contrast ratio of 5,000:1 or 6,000:1, depending on the screen size. Additionally, the TV achieves a brightness of up to 350 nits, offers 93% DCI-P3 color coverage, and supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
For gamers, the T8C offers features such as the 288Hz Game Accelerator, ALLM, support for AMD FreeSync Premium, and ultrawide screen formats such as 21:9 and 32:9. The model uses Google TV as its operating system, allowing users to stream content from various apps, control the TV via voice command, and cast wirelessly with Google Chromecast and Miracast.
The integrated 2.1-channel Onkyo speakers are compatible with Dolby Atmos and DTS-X. Other features include Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz/5 GHz), and numerous ports such as four HDMI ports, USB-A, and LAN.
