TANNOY, one of the sound brands that are familiar to most of the audiophiles with high-end speakers, has launched their first True Audiophile Wireless Earbuds called “Life Buds”.
The price is expected to be around YEN 10,000 – approximately $90 which is quite easily accessible to most users. Although it’s just a product in the mid-range segment, TANNOY still equips this wireless in-ear earbuds with a lot of technology. The first is “Dual Concentric Driver” that has been used for many years on Tannoy’s speakers, which helps to adjust the frequencies of the mid, treble and bass range. Thanks to their built-in DSP, the Life Buds deliver those same breathtaking dynamics, along with powerful transient responses and unparalleled realism across a wide frequency range.
The company also introduced that although only one driver was used for the earbuds, the speed and ability of the musical instruments were well expressed.
The Life Buds Wireless Earbuds also has a talk-through function that enables users to hear the sounds around while wearing headphones, along with a microphone built into the headset so that they can listen to calls comfortably. The main headset supports touch control with features like power on / off, pairing, stop, skip and call answering.
It supports Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and battery life of up to 4 hours per charge. The carry case that also serves as a convenient recharging station, providing up to 12 additional hours – for a total of 16 hours play time. The charging port on the carry case is a Micro USB port. The frequency response range of earbuds is from 20Hz to 20kHz. The wearing feel of the headphones is also very solid with different eartip pairs, a compact headset design that fits well with different ear sizes. This headset also has light water resistance.
