With its slim gaming laptops, Stealth 18 HX AI and Stealth A18 AI+, MSI introduced the lightest 18-inch models at CES 2025. Weighing 2.89 kg, they are now available for pre-order. Nevertheless, the AMD model uses up to a GeForce RTX 5090 and an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX or Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. However, Thunderbolt 5 is not available.

However, the target graphics power of the laptop graphics units is not specified. Since the power supply delivers a maximum of 280W, it cannot be assumed that the maximum TGP of 175W will be used. Alternatively, you can choose an RTX 5080 and, with the AMD model, even the RTX 5070 Ti. Up to 96 GB DDR5-6400-SODIMM RAM can be installed. Unfortunately, the PCIe 5.0 standard is not on board, and only one M.2-2280 SSD can be installed.
The 4K+ mini-LED display powers the Stealth A18 AI+ and 18 HX AI, delivering a 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits in HDR mode. Alternatively, choose a 240Hz panel with QHD+ resolution, no mini-LEDs, and 100% DCI-P3.
Unlike the MSI Titan 18 HX AI, the slim case does not accommodate mechanical keyboards but has single-key RGB lighting and six speakers. However, Thunderbolt 5 is missing, while the Wi-Fi 7 standard is on board.
