MSI Stealth 17 Studio Laptop with 4K 144Hz mini LED display, RTX 4090, and i9-13900H in 20mm thin chassis

At CES 2023, MSI unveiled the Stealth 17 Studio, which boasts the world’s first 4K 144 Hz mini LED display and comes equipped with an RTX 4090 and an i9-13900H, all in a case that is just 20 mm thin. This laptop is aimed at both gamers and creative professionals.

The MSI Stealth 17 Studio is the first laptop of its kind, featuring a 4K 144 Hz mini LED display, with an RTX 4090 and an i9-13900H packed into a slim case that is approximately 20 mm thin. The device is cooled by 7 heat pipes and two fans.

Designed for gamers and creative professionals, the Stealth GS77 successor offers the highest quality multimedia content with over 1,000 cd/m² of peak brightness and over 1,000 dimming zones, making it ideal for video work, which benefits from 100% DCI-P3. Alternatively, users can opt for a QHD+ IPS panel with 240 Hz, and in addition to the RTX 4090, the MSI laptop offers the RTX 4080, RTX 4070, and RTX 4060 GPUs. The device supports up to 64 GB DDR5-5200 RAM and up to two PCIe 4.0 SSDs, available in capacities of up to 2 TB.

With a MUX switch on board and an enlarged touchpad, as well as keycaps of the per-key RGB illuminated keyboard, the case is made of a magnesium-aluminum alloy and weighs 2.8 kg with all the components included.

The connections are mainly located at the back and include 1x TB4, 2x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, and 1x USB-C, along with an SD card reader, 2.5 GBit Ethernet, 3.5 mm audio, and HDMI (8K @60 Hz). The gaming laptop’s 99 Wh battery can be charged with 100 W via USB-C, and WiFi 6E is provided by Intel’s Killer AX1675.

The MSI Stealth 17 Studio 2023 gaming laptop is now available on Amazon.com, Bhphotovideo.com, and Newegg.com online stores, with prices starting from $2,499 for the model with a Core i9-13900H, RTX 4070, and QHD+ display.
