Mitakon Zhongyi Speedmaster 50mm F0.95 Lens for Canon EF now available on Bhphotovideo

The Shenyang Zhongyi Optical Technology Company Limited, also known as Zhongyi Optics or ZY Optics, has recently announced the Mitakon Zhongyi Speedmaster 50mm F0.95 lens for Canon EF mount is finally available to order on Bhphoto store.

Speedmaster 50mm f / 0.95

This is an optical design that differs from the corresponding lenses for the mirrorless camera system with Sony FE, Canon RF, and Nikon Z mounts, which are already on the market from ZY Optics. Due to the large diameter of the rear optical element, this Canon EF lens cannot be used with Nikon F mount. The Canon EF lenses also afford a great degree of control over depth-of-field for isolating subjects from the background and producing selective focus effects. An 82mm filter thread is equipped for mounting screw-in filters easily.

The new Canon 50mm lens with a full metal housing consists of 12 elements in 6 groups, including one element with HRI (High Refractive Index) and five made of UD glass (Ultra-low dispersion). The relatively long focal length with shallow depth of field and the eleven aperture blades create a soft bokeh.
