Sony has announced two high-speed memory cards including XQD M series and SF M series UHS-II card standard to meet the demand for high-speed recording and data transferring.
Sony stressed that two high-speed XQD Cards with up to 128GB storage capacity and support continuous shooting speed up to 200 frames on Nikon D5 and D500. While the SF-M line SD card with high 260MB/s read and 100MB/s write speed. New Sony XQD Memory Card of M series with speed up to 440MB/s read and 150MB/s write.
In addition, Sony also confirmed XQD G series which is able to record 14-bit RAW images in continuous burst shooting with Nikon D5. In this occasion, Sony also introduced world’s first XQD/SD card reader called Sony MRW-E90. This Sony XQD Card Reader using USB 3.1 for fast read and write files from a memory card and a computer or storage device.
