Sony X-Series Bluetooth speakers launch in the US with 25-hour battery life

Sony has launched three new Bluetooth wireless speakers of its X series in the United States: the SRS-XG300, SRS-XE300, and SRS-XE200. These portable Bluetooth outdoor wireless speakers, with features such as ambient noise detection, are designed for outdoor use. The Sony wireless speakers feature long-lasting batteries, with the XG300 capable of delivering 25 hours of playtime.

Sony has added three new Bluetooth wireless speakers to its X-Series in the US: SRS-XG300 SRS-XE300 and SRS-XE200. The XG300 Sony portable speaker features a retractable handle and the XE200 a strap. You can connect to devices via Bluetooth, which you can also use to link up to 100 compatible speakers.

The XG300 is marketed to bring club sound, with a MEGA BASS function and clear high frequencies thanks to a front tweeter. The wireless speakers for home parties can also provide a live audio experience through the LIVE SOUND mode, and you can choose to turn on lighting in sync with the beat of the track. The XE300 and XE200 outdoor wireless speakers are equipped with a line-shaped diffuser for even sound distribution and to deliver sound to a wide area around the device. The new Sony wireless speakers feature Ambient Noise Sensing technology, which detects and adjusts sounds when you’re outdoors

The company says the new Bluetooth wireless speakers feature a unique X-balanced driver and dual passive radiators to deliver powerful bass with minimal distortion. All outdoor wireless speakers have long-lasting batteries; the XG300 has a battery life of 25 hours of playback, while the XE300 and XE200 have a battery life of 24 hours and 16 hours, respectively. You can charge the speakers quickly, with a 10-minute charge delivering 70 minutes of playtime.

Sony Wireless Speakers’ price and availability

Last month, Sony introduced three new top noise cancelling headphones that offer some interesting features when used with a PlayStation 5. Thanks to a special app for Windows, the PS5 headphones are also aimed at PC gaming enthusiasts. The top gaming headset wireless model offers ANC and RGB lighting, and pricing starts from $98 / £89.
