Sony has finally decided to introduce two interesting features within its customization dedicated to Android smartphones. This is the Night Light mode and the ability to reduce the interface to facilitate One-handed mode, both available in the software of the new Sony Xperia XZ2 (probably also on Xperia XZ2 Compact, but we cannot confirm it now).
Night Light is not a completely new feature within Sony products, however, it was only included in the Xperia Concept firmware. So it’s nice to see that it will be reintroduced in the official version of the Xperia software. Recall that Night Light allows you to change the color temperature of the display to bring it to warmer values in the evening hours, so as to reduce eye strain and prevent the use of the device can create disorders such as insomnia.
The One-handed mode, however, it allows you to swipe at the bottom of the screen to resize the interface and make it easier to use. This function may not be available on the Compact variant, as this should be difficult to use due to its small size. However, as mentioned before, we cannot confirm this statement at this time.
We hope that Sony will also introduce the two innovations in the firmware of the other devices of the Japanese house with an upcoming update of the Xperia firmware.
