Sony launches Four new D-series Professional Projectors

Sony has expanded its professional projectors range with the announcement of four new D-series projectors, including Sony VPL-DX221, VPL-DX241, VPL-DX271, and VPL-DW241.

Sony VPL-DX221

All new Sony D-series projectors use 3 LCD system and employ a 215 W ultra high-pressure mercury lamp, which lasts between 3,000 to 10,000 hours (depending on the operating mode). All four models differ from resolutions, brightness and aspect ratio. The Sony VPL-DW241 offers a WXGA (1280 x 800 pixels) resolution and a brightness of 3100 lumens. While, remaining all three offers XGA (1024 x 768 pixels) resolution with a brightness of 2800 lumens for Sony VPL-DX221, 3300 lumens for Sony VPL-DX241 and 3600 lumens for Sony VPL-DX271.

Sony D200 Series projectors have seven picture modes for correct picture quality: Vivid, Dynamic, Standard, Presentation, Blackboard, Whiteboard,
and Cinema. With seven picture modes and three brightness modes combined, user can create the optimal image by selecting the most suitable picture/brightness combination according to the picture source and environment.

The throw ratio is 1.36:1-1.77:1 for DW241, 1.37:1-1.80:1 for DX271 and DX241, 1.47:1-1.77:1 for DX221. With two HDMI ports and one USB power supply port, user can concurrently connect PCs and any dongle or device with an HDMI port, which offers various functions to
widen usage.

All four projectors also come with Auto Start feature to detect an HDMI or VGA signal so you can quickly start presentations and manage them quickly, while Quick Power Off allows you to save time in case more close projections. For Zoom, VPL-DX221 offers 1.2x zoom, while rest of three sports 1.3x zoom capabilities.
