The Zeiss Planar optical design benefits users by providing an almost distortion-free image, it works with a 12-element in 9-group design while the incorporation of 1 Advanced Aspherical, 1 aspherical, and 1 extra-low dispersion element work to minimize spherical and chromatic aberrations. Sony FE 50mm F1.4 ZA lens also possesses 11-blade circular diaphragm as we have seen on 85mm F1.4 prime G Master lens that improves image quality by ensuring smooth bokeh at a wide range of aperture settings.
