Besides the HDR-AS50 Action Cam, Sony also introduced new Handycam at CES 2016 including Sony FDR-AX53, Sony HDR-CX675 and Sony HDR-CX455. In which the FDR-AX53 Handycam supports 4K video recording at 30 fps; while HDR-CX675 and HDR-CX455 on the other hand, both are Full HD Camcorders with improved Balanced Optical SteadyShot features.
Sony FDR-AX53 4K Handycam owned Exmor R CMOS image sensor size supports 1 / 2.5 ” 8.29-megapixel photography; 16.6 megapixel effective resolution. Although this sensor is 1.6x larger than the previous model such as AX33 / AXP35 was launched last year. Sony has integrated Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* Lens with 20x Optical Zoom, 26.8-536mm focal range (35mm equivalent) with an aperture of f / 2.0-3.8, Clear Image Zoom of 30x in 4K and /40x in HD video recording using Clear Image zoom.
It has a 3.0-inch Clear Photo LCD touchscreen display with 921k pixels resolution for clear and natural images along with WhiteMagic technology to enhanced the daylight visibility. There are 0.24″ OLED Tru-Finder Electronic Viewfinder flaunts a 1,555K pixels resolution.
In the new version, Sony has improved the focus ability; Fast Intelligent AF to identify the context with faster speed. It also supports Balanced Optical SteadyShot Image Stabilization with 5 axis helps to reduce vibration.
Sony AX53 bear all the additional features of the Handycam product line such as online video streaming via Ustream, Dual Recording in AVCHD or XAVC S format combined with MP4, NightShot infrared recording, Photo capture from movie, Face Detection, Smile Shutter, Motion – Golf Shot and more. On connectivity front, includes Wi-Fi and NFC for one touch photo and video sharing.
The new Sony FDR-AX53 4K camcorder has been priced at $998 and is available for pre-order from B&H photovideo online e-commerce store.

There are new 5-axis “Intelligent Active mode” of stabilization to engage even while you are running. While the Sony HDR-CX455 is equipped with Optical SteadyShot stabilization with Intelligent Active mode which compensates camera shake in 5-axis which enables to shoot stable high-quality movies.
