Sonos expands its family with the launch of the high-definition audio products and does so in collaboration with the historic Sonance brand announcing three passive speakers for indoor and outdoor use – Sonos In-Wall, Sonos In-Ceiling, and Sonos Outdoor.
The Sonos Outdoor speakers are dedicated to outdoor use environment which is resistant to humidity, water, salt spray, heat, UV rays, and freezing temperatures. All three products have been developed to be fully compatible with Sonos Amp, the multi-room audio amplifier-hub officially presented at the end of August 2018.
Once installed, Sonos In-Wall and In-Ceiling disappear completely, becoming one with the wall and ceiling of the room in which they are positioned respectively. That does not mean giving up the sound quality, enriched by the
Thanks to Sonos Amp it will be possible to connect the speakers and control them directly from the official application. Support is provided to AirPlay 2 and the possibility of adding additional Sonos speakers (up to 3 pairs of Sonance Architectural speakers by Sonance for each Sonos Amp).
