Silicon Power has been added to the list of manufacturers that have introduced PCIe 4 SSDs. Silicon Power US70 is M.2 PCIe SSD with PCIe Gen 4×4, 3D NAND flash memory, and support NVMe 1.3 protocol will be a perfect choice for the gamers, competitive overclockers, professional designers or video-photo editors, and high-end business users.
The US70 PCI express 4.0 enabled read speeds of up to 5,000 MB/s and write speeds of 4,400 MB/s, makes US70 an order of magnitude greater than SATA 6Gb/s SSD. The drive uses a 3D NAND flash memory. To increase the speed supports SLC Caching and DRAM Cache Buffer to improve sequential read/write and random read/write performance.
The PCIe SSD also supports TRIM commands, enabling it to efficiently manage reusable space as well as significantly reduce hard drive wears out. This PCIe NVMe SSD also features Silicon Power’s proprietary S.M.A.R.T. software for operational monitoring at any time. It also features built-in bad block management (BBM) mechanism detects and marks bad blocks in the NAND flash to avoid storage in those blocks and eliminate access errors.
